I’m an indigenous artist but I paint differently from the last generation. My father is Aboriginal and is from the Bundjalung people in Northern NSW. My mother is German and migrated to Australia when she was four years old. I am what you would call a spiritual artist, I paint what I feel and see from within and from others around me. Self taught I did not have the privilege of growing up learning about my indigenous culture as I only found my father 4 years ago. Painting is a part of me which helps to keep me centred and allows me to express my emotions, healing past hurts. It's such a huge part of my life, it’s my passion, my free expression, its how I show the world how I feel about things, how I see things. Painting is who I am. Now I am seeking to introduce my artwork to a wider audience.
