AboriginalPosters.com is a place where a mixture of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait artists can showcase one piece of their work in an environment that will give them exposure and income at the same time.

The featured artists have been blessed with exceptional talent, a love of painting and a desire to show us their history and culture. They live in rainforest hideaways, beachside shacks, outback townships and urban environments, creating their art in their own special way.

Every image is unique in more ways than one, some are stories, some are memories, some are painted on canvas, one is painted on silk another is a warriors shield design and another is a lino cut. Some use traditional colours and techniques others are more contemporary in style. Each one is special in its own way; the images are just as diverse as the artists.

As you browse you will see a page for each artist, with the artist’s profile and info about their painting. Please feel free to download the information if you choose to buy a poster. Where an artist has a website or email address I’ve included that information on their page so you can contact them directly if you would like to buy an original painting, secure in the knowledge that the artist will receive all monies from the sale.

I mentioned income earlier; each artist receives a payment of $2 for every poster of theirs that is sold, deposited quarterly into their account. This creates a passive income for every artist, from a niche market, which up until now was not available. Add to this, the income generated from personally selling the original art work and potentially commissioned artworks through exposure on this website.
